Mansha Pasha Claps Back at Trolls Criticizing Women’s Clothing Choices

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha delivered a strong and direct response to online trolls criticizing her outfit at a recent wedding. The actress was subjected to backlash on social media for her attire at Yashma Gill’s sister’s wedding, with some accusing her of dressing immodestly.

One critic commented on her picture, questioning, “Why have you chosen to dress immodestly? Blindly following India?” Mansha, known for her bold statements, swiftly responded, “Why is it necessary to drag India into everything? If you don’t like the dress, that’s fine, but don’t make it seem like you’re suffering from an inferiority complex.”

Addressing the criticism further, Mansha took to Instagram stories to share her thoughts on the matter. She highlighted, “Selective whitening of history and culture while shaming today’s women is beyond comprehension.” In her posts, she shared screenshots from vintage Pakistani films where actresses were seen in sleeveless dresses, semi-traditional outfits, or even smoking in tea houses, illustrating that such styles have long been a part of the country’s cultural landscape.
