A man was gunned down by three unidentified persons in Naseerabad while another man died from poisoning.
Shujaat Abbas lodged an FIR with the police stating that his brother Sohail Abbas Shah left his house on Thursday night for a walk. After some time Shah called and told him that he had been held by three unidentified persons.
He said when he called his brother again, his phone was attended by an unidentified man who informed them that Shah had been shot. He said he rushed to the crime scene and found his brother lying in a pool of blood. The injured was taken to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Azhar Naveed complained to the Rawat police that his brother Mudassar Ali, aged between 35 and 36 years, left for his job and later he received a phone call that he was lying unconscious in a hospital.
He said when his other brother Mazhar Nadeem along with his relatives reached the hospital, they were informed that due to unavailability of a doctor, the patient had been sent to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ).
On reaching the DHQ hospital, they were informed that there was poison in the patient’s body which was spreading fast. He said the patient later died.
The complainant suspected that his brother had been poisoned by someone for unknown reasons.
