Malala Yousafzai returned to Pakistan with family members

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has returned to Pakistan along with her family members with an aim to help Pakistani girls get access to STEAM education and a fellowship program for teachers. During her stay in Pakistan, Malala and her father would also meet Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi with a focus on education and the work of the Malala Fund in Pakistan.

According to the sources, she will then attend Oxford Pakistan Program (OPP) and the Malala Fund team events for awareness of the academic program within Pakistan having a focus on science education for young girls. Malala will also interact with stakeholders in education, government, the development community, digital cultural creators, students, and youth, reports say.

As per details Malala last visited Pakistan two months ago when she toured the flood-affected areas of the country. The Malala Fund said in a statement that her visit was aimed “to help focus international attention on the impact of the floods in Pakistan and reinforce the need for critical humanitarian assistance.”
