Mahmood Khan Achakzai Proposes No-Confidence Motion Against Speaker in National Assembly

Islamabad: Mahmood Khan Achakzai has suggested a no-confidence motion against Speaker Ayaz Sadiq after being denied an opportunity to speak in the National Assembly.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Achakzai emphasized the hard-won establishment of democracy, representing 240 million people. He questioned Ayaz Sadiq’s actions, asking, “Ayaz Sadiq, you are one of us, who made you a dictator?”

Achakzai insisted that all of Pakistan’s policies should be centered in Parliament and criticized Ayaz Sadiq for facilitating restrictions on speech. He urged that people should be allowed to speak freely to learn and grow, advocating for a no-confidence motion against Sadiq.
