Mahira Khan Plans to Gift Her “Dua-e-Khair” Outfit to Future Daughter-in-Law

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan revealed in a recent interview that she intends to give her wedding “Dua-e-Khair” outfit to her future daughter-in-law. A clip of the interview has gone viral on social media, where Mahira discussed various topics, including her wedding celebrations and attire.
She shared that her wedding festivities began with the “Dua-e-Khair” ceremony, fulfilling her mother’s wish to start the celebrations with prayers, led by Zehra Nigah.

Mahira described the outfit as a memorable piece, designed by Umar Saeed in a traditional Hyderabadi style. She paired it with light makeup, minimal jewelry, floral accessories, and a braid for the special occasion.
“This outfit is very special to me,” Mahira said. “I plan to give it to my future daughter-in-law and explain to her how to care for it, as it was created with a lot of love and affection.”
For context, Mahira married businessman Saleem Karim in October 2023. She also has a son, Azlan, from her first marriage.
