Lt Gen Asim Malik appointed as national security advisor
Lieutenant Gen Asim Malik takes up appointment immediately
ISlAMABAD: The federal government appointed on Wednesday a new national security advisor in light of the prevailing security situation.
Lieutenant Gen Muhammad Asim Malik of the Pakistan Army received the additional charge of the national security advisor. The federal government issued an official notification regarding his appointment.

Lieutenant Gen Muhammad Asim Malik took up the appointment immediately after the issuance of the notification.
