Long-lost masterpiece recovered in Argentina 80 years later.

How a Real Estate Ad Led to an 80-Year-Old Mystery Being Solved

Argentina – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk)- A very old painting stolen by the Nazis was recently found in Argentina. It had been missing for almost 80 years.

Authorities say the artwork was discovered after it showed up in an online ad for a house. The find was the result of a big international search and several police raids.

The painting is a portrait of a woman, created by the famous Italian artist Giuseppe Ghislandi. It disappeared from history during the chaos of the Second World War.

Last month, the portrait was spotted hanging on a wall in a home in Mar del Plata, a city south of Buenos Aires. A photo of the painting was part of the real estate listing.

The artwork originally belonged to Friedrich Kadgien, who was a money advisor to a top Nazi official. After the war ended, Kadgien moved to South America.

Sinner leaves court quickly after Alcaraz claims the championship.

The portrait was listed in a special database for art lost during the war. Investigators found a new clue when Kadgien’s daughter posted the property ad. But when they searched the house, the painting was already gone. They have now started a legal case to get it back.
