Launch of Vantage Games: Repositioning Youth Sports in Pakistan
Islamabad: Vantage Games has officially been launched as Pakistan’s first structured national platform dedicated to children and youth, encompassing school, college, and university sports. Accessible at www.vantagegames.org, the initiative addresses the fragmented, underfunded, and neglected grassroots sports ecosystem by injecting professionalism, imagination, and scalability. It aims to provide continuity through year-round opportunities for millions of young Pakistanis, repositioning sports as a central pillar of community and social life.
Ensuring nationwide coverage, Vantage Games has already integrated students from across the entire network of public sector educational boards. The platform is also rapidly expanding to include representation from private schools, madrassas, and out-of-school children—making it truly youth-inclusive. Gender inclusion and the creation of safe, accessible public spaces for young people remain among the foremost objectives of the Games.
Highlighting its key features, Haider Ali Daud, Founder of Vantage Games, stated:
“It is time for action to establish a youth-centric, sports-first culture at the grassroots. Through Vantage Games, an apolitical, sports-driven team of professionals is working to restore the pride of children and youth by engaging them and their mentors year-round. The connected pillars of Vantage Games—talent identification, human and institutional development, talent promotion, and sustained engagement—ensure that both individuals and their environments benefit holistically. The hallmark of Vantage Games is its unmatched outreach and merit-based approach, guaranteeing that deserving athletes receive opportunities, training, visibility, and clear career pathways. None of this would be possible without our growing network of partners and collaborators.”
Vantage Games is being co-managed by Strawberry Sports Management and the Pakistan Sports Alliance.
