Latest Weather forecast for Islamabad, Pakistan at weekend

Twin cities and various regions of the country are anticipated to experience cold and dry weather conditions.

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts cold and dry weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and many areas across Pakistan over the weekend.

According to the synoptic situation, most parts of Pakistan are experiencing the influence of continental air.

During this period, the twin cities and various regions of the country are anticipated to experience cold and dry weather conditions from Friday evening/night through Saturday and Sunday.

The upper regions of the country are forecasted to encounter freezing temperatures. Additionally, shallow fog is expected to occur in isolated areas of northeast Punjab during the morning and night hours.

In Islamabad, the minimum temperature is expected to range between 0 to 2 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 1 to 3 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

In Rawalpindi, the minimum temperature is expected to range between 2 to 4 degrees Celsius on both Saturday and Sunday.

During the past 24 hours, cold and dry weather dominated most areas of the country. Freezing conditions were observed in the upper regions, while isolated areas in northeast Punjab experienced shallow fog.
