Lahore: (Web Desk) – In a rain-affected clash of Pakistan Super League 11, Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans by 20 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium.

The toss was delayed due to rain, but eventually Multan Sultans won and opted to field. The match was reduced to 13 overs per side because of the weather interruptions.

Lahore Qalandars posted 185/5 in their allotted overs, led by Mohammad Naeem (60) and Pervez Hussain (45). Additional contributions came from Abdullah Shafiq (33) and Sikandar Raza (13). For Multan Sultans, Mohammad Ismail took 2 wickets.

Chasing 186, Multan Sultans managed 165/5 in their 13 overs. Captain Ashton Turner scored 52, while Shan Masood added 44 and Arafat Minhas contributed 25. Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets for Lahore Qalandars.

The win strengthens Lahore Qalandars’ position in the PSL11 points table as the tournament progresses.
