Lahore Qalandars Beat Karachi Kings by 65 Runs in PSL 10

Karachi Kings Fail to Chase Target Despite Hasan Ali's 4-Wicket Haul

KARACHI – Lahore Qalandars triumphed over Karachi Kings by 65 runs in the sixth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, with standout performances from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Rashad Hussain, who each claimed three wickets.

Earlier, Qalandars posted a challenging total of 201/6 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Fakhar Zaman (75 runs off 47 balls) and Daryl Mitchell (75 runs off 41 balls). Both players shared a crucial 125-run partnership after the team had lost early wickets, including Mohammad Naeem (7) and Abdullah Shafiq (6).

Karachi Kings struggled to chase the target, despite a strong bowling effort from Hasan Ali, who took 4 wickets for 28 runs. Abbas Afridi added one more to the tally, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Qalandars’ charge.

The Kings’ batting line-up couldn’t match the required run rate, and the Qalandars’ bowlers, led by Afridi and Hussain, controlled the game, limiting Karachi to just 136/9 in their 20 overs.

The two teams featured the following playing elevens: Karachi Kings: David Warner (C), Tim Seifert (WK), James Vince, Shan Masood, Irfan Khan Niazi, Khushdil Shah, Arafat Minhas, Abbas Afridi, Adam Milne, Hasan Ali, Fawad Ali.

Lahore Qalandars: Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafiq, Daryl Mitchell, Sam Billings (WK), Sikandar Raza, Shaheen Afridi (C), Rashad Hussain, Haris Rauf, Asif Afridi, Zaman Khan.
