London — Lady Annabel Goldsmith, former mother-in-law of Pakistan’s ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan and a prominent British socialite, has passed away at the age of 91. Born on June 11, 1934, in London, Lady Annabel belonged to a distinguished British aristocratic family.
She was first married to Mark Birley, the founder of the famous London nightclub “Annabel’s,” named after her. Later, she married renowned businessman Sir James Goldsmith.
Lady Annabel had three children — Jemima, Zac, and Ben Goldsmith. Her daughter Jemima Goldsmith married Imran Khan in 1995, making Lady Annabel Khan’s mother-in-law for several years.
