Kusal Mendis avoids question on PSL IPL switch

Mendis dodges question about PSL exit controversy

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Kusal Mendis chose to stay quiet when questioned about his decision to skip the Pakistan Super League (PSL) last year in favor of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Following Peshawar Zalmi’s recent victory, a journalist asked Mendis whether he regretted leaving the PSL previously to join Gujarat Titans, reportedly due to security concerns. In response, the Sri Lankan batter simply laughed and avoided giving a direct answer.

Mendis has been in outstanding form this season. He played a match-winning knock of 74 runs against Lahore Qalandars, earning the Player of the Match award.

In the previous game, he delivered an impressive century against Karachi Kings, once again securing the Man of the Match title.

His recent performances have been crucial for Peshawar Zalmi, making him one of the standout players in the ongoing tournament.
