“KSrelief’s Winter Relief Initiative: A Powerful Collaboration Benefiting 175,000 Lives Across Pakistan”

ISLAMABAD: Addressing the urgent needs of communities grappling with the harsh impacts of natural disasters, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its Winter Relief Project. In collaboration with NDMA, PDMAs, and GBDMA, the initiative saw the distribution of 25,000 winter kits to the coldest regions of Pakistan.

These vital packages were dispersed across five districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four districts in Balochistan, and three districts in Gilgit Baltistan. Each of the 25,000 packages included 2 polyester quilts, a warm shawl kit designed for both men and women, and winter clothing for children and adults.

The collaborative effort involved close coordination with provincial governments and the Hayat Foundation, serving as the implementing partner. In total, the winter relief packages provided by KSrelief have made a significant positive impact on the lives of over 175,000 individuals in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Gilgit Baltistan. This marks a commendable stride in addressing the immediate needs of those affected by the winter chill, showcasing the power of international cooperation and humanitarian aid.
