KP govt to build new KP House near Islamabad
Around Rs250 million has been allocated in the current fiscal year to begin work on the scheme.
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved the construction of a new KP House in Haripur’s Makhnial area under the province’s Annual Development Programme (ADP).
According to a notification from the Establishment Department, the project has been formally included in the ADP with an estimated cost of Rs500 million.
Around Rs250 million has been allocated in the current fiscal year to begin work on the scheme.
The provincial government has instructed the Deputy commissioner of Haripur to identify suitable state land in Makhnial for the facility.
The proposed KP House will function as an official government facility providing accommodation and administrative support, similar to existing KP Houses in Islamabad and other cities.

Haripur, located in Hazara Division about 65kilometers north of Islamabad and 35 kilometers south of Abbottabad is expected to host the new facility once land is finalised.
