KP Governor, OGDCL MD Discuss Gas Supply Projects in Southern Districts
Islamabad:-(Mudassar Iqbal)-Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met with Managing Director of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Ahmed Hayat Lak, in Islamabad. He was accompanied by MPA and PPP Parliamentary Leader in the KP Assembly, Ahmed Karim Kundi.
The meeting focused on the gas supply situation in southern districts of KP, ongoing projects, and future expansion plans. The governor emphasized the need for urgent measures to improve the gas distribution system in line with public needs.

Governor Kundi directed OGDCL officials to prioritize the completion of gas supply projects in the southern districts before the onset of winter to prevent public inconvenience.
Discussions also covered proposed expansion plans in Dera Ismail Khan’s Daraban region and other areas, including laying of new pipelines, upgrading existing infrastructure, and exploring new gas reserves.
Governor Kundi stressed that these development efforts would not only bring relief to the public but also stimulate the regional economy.
