Gandapur Urges Political Unity for National Progress

Islamabad – While the opposition parties boycotted the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur not only attended but also addressed the session, shedding light on the province’s security situation and challenges.

According to sources, Gandapur spoke about the security hurdles faced by KP, highlighting the ongoing efforts to boost the morale of the police and security forces despite the numerous challenges. He emphasized the recent salary hike for police personnel, demonstrating his commitment to strengthening the province’s law enforcement agencies.

The KP CM also expressed concern over the insufficient allocation of resources for the merged tribal districts, which has created multiple difficulties. He reassured that his government is in continuous talks with federal authorities to ensure that these districts receive their rightful share of resources.

In his speech, Gandapur acknowledged the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, praising its extensive role in counterterrorism operations across KP and its significant contribution to maintaining peace in the region.
