KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Announces Increase in Health Card Coverage

Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has announced a significant enhancement to the province’s health card program. Speaking at an event in Peshawar, Gandapur revealed that the health card coverage will be increased from PKR 1 million to PKR 2 million.

He emphasized that the health card allows for treatment in designated hospitals across the country, and the government is committed to further improving the healthcare sector. “We aim to enhance healthcare services and make them more accessible to the public,” Gandapur stated.

Addressing the province’s economic challenges, Gandapur noted, “Despite being a self-reliant people, we unfortunately have to seek assistance due to the current economic crisis.”

He also highlighted the security issues faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, describing them as a significant challenge. “To address security concerns, we need to focus on the development of underprivileged areas,” Gandapur added.

PTI Leader and Former Punjab CM Pervez Elahi Named in 20 New Cases from May 9 Incidents

Lahore (Staff Reporter): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Chief Minister of Punjab, Pervez Elahi, has been named in 20 new cases related to incidents that occurred on May 9.

According to a report submitted by the Inspector General of Punjab Police to the Lahore High Court, Pervez Elahi has been implicated in three cases filed in Lahore, four in Faisalabad, and eleven in Rawalpindi.

The report also mentions that Elahi is named in one case each in the districts of Attock and Gujranwala. This submission was in compliance with Justice Amjad Rafiq’s order to the IG Punjab to provide details of the cases.

In a separate legal matter, Pervez Elahi has been granted bail in a case involving illegal recruitments. This development marks a significant turn in the legal proceedings against the former Chief Minister, who continues to face multiple legal challenges.
