KP Approves E-Transfer Policy for Teachers
Sohail Afridi said the new policy will ensure merit and transparency.
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet has approved a new e-transfer policy for teachers, which includes indicators such as length of service at a school, student–teacher ratio, and annual performance results.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi said the new policy will ensure merit and transparency. He added that an e-transfer system for teachers was a crucial need of the time.
The chief minister stated that postings and transfers of teachers are currently banned across the province. “We received over 400 recommendations, but none of them were accepted,” he said.
