Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s new cabinet names revealed
There is a possibility of appointing 14 ministers, 5 advisers, and 10 special assistants.
Peshawar: “After the announcement of speaker nominations, consultations have begun on the names of ministers. According to details, the provincial cabinet is also including new faces alongside familiar ones. There is a possibility of appointing 14 ministers, 5 advisers, and 10 special assistants. Timur Jhagra and Kamran Bangash, who lost in the elections, will also be included. Timur Jhagra may be given the portfolio of health, while Kamran Bangash may be appointed as the sports minister. The current speaker, Mushtaq Ghani, may be assigned the education ministry.
Shakil Khan, Khaliq ur Rehman, and Aarif Ahmed Zai’s names are also under consideration. Fazal Shakoor, Zahid Shah Toru, Meena Khan, and Syed Qasim Shah are also strong contenders. Babar Swati, Akbar Ayub, Faisal Amin Gandapur, and Anwar Zeb could also become part of the cabinet.
On the other hand, the nominated Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, during a meeting with the Bajaur delegation yesterday, said that during the election campaign, our youth leader Rehan Zeb was martyred in Bajaur. Rest assured, we will track down Rehan Zeb’s killers and bring them to justice.”
