Khawaja Asif Warns India: Next Response Will Be Stronger Than Ever

Reaffirming Pakistan’s military resolve, Asif said, “Pakistan is a state built in the name of Allah.

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly responded to recent provocative remarks by India’s military leadership, warning that any future act of aggression against Pakistan will be met with an even stronger and more decisive response. In a statement shared on social media, Asif accused Indian leaders of trying to salvage their damaged credibility after suffering what he called a “decisive defeat” with a score of “0-6.” He warned that if India tries again, the result will be even more damaging than before.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s military resolve, Asif said, “Pakistan is a state built in the name of Allah. Our protectors are the soldiers of Allah. This time, India will be buried in the wreckage of its planes, InshaAllah.” He further claimed that the Indian public has turned against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government after what he described as the “worst defeat in history,” suggesting that the recent aggressive rhetoric is a response to growing domestic political pressure.

The Defence Minister’s remarks came in the wake of a warning from Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, who stated that India would not show the same restraint in a future conflict as it did during Operation Sindoor. Pakistan’s leadership has strongly condemned these statements, calling them irresponsible and provocative.

Echoing these sentiments, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement warning that such rhetoric could endanger regional peace and stability. The military’s media wing said the remarks may be a calculated attempt by India to manufacture a justification for aggression, while also reminding the region of India’s long history of portraying itself as a victim, despite being the epicentre of cross-border terrorism and instability.

ISPR further noted that India seems to have forgotten the wreckage of its own fighter jets and Pakistan’s demonstrated military capability, underscoring that any renewed hostility will be met with a swift and decisive response.
