Khawaja Asif Calls Zionism Threat to Humanity
Khawaja Asif Warns Zionism Driving Wars Against Muslim World
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has described Zionism as a serious threat to humanity, alleging that many of the crises confronting the Muslim world since the creation of Israel are rooted in what he termed Zionist ideology and state policy.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the defence minister said that despite Iran showing readiness to reach an agreement, war had been imposed on Tehran. He claimed the conflict was part of a broader agenda aimed at expanding Israeli influence across the region, ultimately reaching Pakistan’s borders.
According to Asif, this alleged strategy seeks to align Afghanistan, Iran and India on a platform hostile to Pakistan, thereby surrounding the country with adversaries and undermining its border security.
The defence minister stated that from the establishment of Israel on Palestinian land to the present day, wars and instability in the Islamic world have been imposed either directly or indirectly due to Zionist ideology and Israeli state actions.
He further claimed that the global economic system has remained under Zionist influence for nearly a century, asserting that major world powers are effectively constrained by it, according to a report aired by 24NewsHD on Tuesday.
Highlighting Pakistan’s defence capability, Asif said the country remains a nuclear power and that the strength of its armed forces is internationally acknowledged by the grace of God. He paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs and veterans, saying their sacrifices ensured the country’s survival and sovereignty.
He also offered prayers for those who contributed to making Pakistan a nuclear power and praised former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for what he described as the courage to carry out nuclear tests despite international pressure.
Reiterating his stance on Iran, Asif said conflict had been imposed despite Tehran’s willingness to reach a settlement, describing it as part of a Zionist-designed plan to weaken regional Muslim states.

He warned that the ultimate objective of this agenda was to reduce Pakistan to dependency by creating a coordinated anti-Pakistan front involving regional rivals.
Calling for national unity, the defence minister urged Pakistan’s 250 million citizens to rise above political and sectarian differences and recognise what he described as a long-term conspiracy by Pakistan’s “eternal enemies”.
Asif concluded by praying for unity in the Muslim world, the freedom of Palestine, and lasting peace and security for Pakistan, asking that the country and its defenders remain protected forever.
