Government Plans Inclusion of Khatm-e-Nabuwat Affidavit in Nikahnam
Pakistan:According to sources within the Ministry of Religious Affairs, there are plans to integrate an affidavit confirming the finality of Prophethood (PBUH) into the nikahnama. This proposal is set to be discussed in an upcoming cabinet meeting, where a related summary will be presented for consideration.
If the federal cabinet approves the proposal, the new regulation will require that an oath affirming the finality of Prophethood be included in all nikahnamas issued within Islamabad’s jurisdiction.
This initiative seeks to formalize religious declarations within official documentation, demonstrating the government’s commitment to embedding religious principles in legal frameworks.
