Kate Winslet reveals why King Charles ‘brings people together’ in new documentary
Actor Kate Winslet has spoken about King Charles III’s ability to unite people across backgrounds in a new documentary focused on the monarch’s environmental legacy.
Winslet narrates Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, an upcoming film that explores King Charles’ decades-long commitment to sustainability and conservation. In a newly released trailer, she reflects on the monarch’s approach, saying his work shows that “the only path forward is together”.
The documentary, produced for Prime Video, centres on Charles’ “Harmony” philosophy and his work through The King’s Foundation, which focuses on sustainable communities, heritage skills and environmental regeneration.
The trailer features footage of the 77-year-old monarch meeting people around the world, alongside images of wildlife and natural landscapes. According to the film’s creators, the project highlights Charles’ belief that humanity must see itself as part of nature, rather than separate from it.
Kristina Murrin CBE, chief executive of The King’s Foundation, said the documentary offers viewers a close look at the king’s personal journey and long-standing environmental vision, adding that his philosophy continues to guide the foundation’s work.
The release comes as public interest remains high in the monarch’s health. King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024 and has continued treatment since. In a televised message aired in December, he spoke about the importance of early detection and encouraged people to prioritise cancer screening.
The royal family faced a challenging year in 2024, with Catherine, Princess of Wales also revealing she was undergoing cancer treatment. She later confirmed she had completed chemotherapy and announced in 2025 that she was in remission.
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision premieres on Prime Video on February 6.
