Kashroot Youth Welfare & Development Organization Successfully Hosts Youth Summit in Gilgit

Raise awareness about contemporary challenges and encourage collective efforts to find solutions.

Gilgit – The Kashroot Youth Welfare & Development Organization successfully organized a grand Youth Summit in Gilgit, aimed at guiding the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan, promoting social harmony, and preparing them to face modern-day challenges.

The event’s chief guest, Additional Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan Mushtaq Ahmed, toured various stalls and encouraged participants by presenting commemorative shields.

The summit was attended by prominent figures including Maulana Attaullah Shahab, GB Assembly member Jamil Ahmed, Special Assistant for Information Iman Shah, Secretary Social Welfare Zafar Waqar Taj, Secretary Information Dildar Ahmed Malik, Dr. Afzal Siraj (Medical Superintendent Shaheed Saif-ur-Rehman Hospital), CEO Binary Hub Tehseen Abbas, Advocate Zafar Iqbal (President District Bar Gilgit), senior journalist Shabbir Mir, former President Anjuman Imamia Gilgit Sajid Ali Baig, and many other representatives from diverse sectors.

Participants included education experts, doctors, female youth representatives, members of youth organizations for people with disabilities, school and college students, youth-led entrepreneurs, and founders of various startups. Food stalls were also set up to provide refreshments for attendees.

  • Raise awareness about contemporary challenges and encourage collective efforts to find solutions.

  • Provide a unified platform for various youth organizations to contribute to the development of Gilgit.

  • Introduce youth to educational and information technology opportunities.

Outstanding youth leaders, religious scholars, political and social personalities were honored with shields and certificates for their achievements. Experts conducted informative sessions in their respective fields, which were highly appreciated by the participants.
