Islamabad-Mudassar Iqbal;-Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, has responded to India’s recent statement on Jammu and Kashmir, reiterating that the dispute must be resolved through UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
Pakistan rejects any narrative suggesting a unilateral settlement, calling such claims “misleading” and “dangerously delusional.” India’s actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) cannot change the reality of the dispute.
While committed to diplomacy, Pakistan will respond firmly to hostile actions. The country calls on India to abandon provocative rhetoric and engage in meaningful dialogue for a just and lasting resolution, ensuring durable peace in South Asia.
