Karachi Kings Crush Multan Sultans by 87 Runs to End Their PSL 10 Journey

Multan Sultans are officially out of the race for the playoffs in PSL 10.

LAHORE: In the 20th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Karachi Kings delivered a dominant performance, defeating Multan Sultans by 87 runs at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium—effectively knocking the Sultans out of the tournament.

After winning the toss, Karachi Kings opted to bat first and posted an imposing total of 204 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. James Vince led the charge with a brilliant 65-run knock, while Irfan Khan contributed 40 runs. Khushdil Shah added 33, skipper David Warner scored 30, and Tim Seifert chipped in with 22 runs.

Among Multan’s bowlers, Ubaid Shah was the most effective, taking 2 wickets. Mark Adair and David Willey claimed one wicket each.

In response, Multan Sultans struggled to keep up with the steep target and were bowled out for just 117 runs. Kamran Ghulam (29) and Yasir Khan (26) were the only notable contributors with the bat.

Karachi’s Mohammad Nabi starred with the ball, claiming 3 crucial wickets to dismantle the opposition and seal a convincing win for the Kings.

With this defeat, Multan Sultans are officially out of the race for the playoffs in PSL 10.
