KARACHI (Wed Desk): A petition has been lodged in a district court in Karachi against US President Donald Trump and others, though the specific allegations remain undisclosed.
The petition, numbered 1095/26, was submitted to the Additional District and Sessions Judge and the Model Criminal Trial Court West 1 by lawyer Jamshed Khawaja, affiliated with the high court.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police (SSP) Complaints Cell and the Station House Officer (SHO) of the jurisdiction are listed as respondents, with Trump named as the fourth respondent and proposed accused.

The legal move has attracted attention on social media, but attempts to reach Khawaja for details were unsuccessful. The court’s response and further developments are awaited.
The petition follows a recent incident in which US Marines reportedly fired at protesters during an attack on the US consulate in Karachi over the weekend. Eleven people were killed when demonstrators breached the outer perimeter of the consulate, amid rising unrest after the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
