Karachi Consumer Court Orders Pakistan Post to Pay Rs 13 Lakh for Negligence

Karachi: The Consumer Protection Court East in Karachi has handed down a significant verdict against Pakistan Post, ordering the state-run postal service to pay Rs 13 lakh in damages for negligence and fraud.
The case was brought forward by a petitioner who claimed that crucial documents sent abroad on February 16, 2023, were returned undelivered on March 21. Despite filing a complaint on the Pakistan Post portal, the petitioner received no response, prompting legal action.
