Speculation surrounding Junaid Safdar’s second marriage was confirmed last month when Sheikh Rohail Asghar publicly acknowledged the match and shared details of the upcoming events. He revealed that his granddaughter Shanzay shares a close friendship with Junaid’s sister, Mahnoor Safdar, and the families have long-standing ties. Rohail Asghar added that Shanzay’s frequent interactions with Maryam Nawaz eventually led to the formal proposal, which he described as a blessing for both families.
