Jordan Successfully Shoots Down Two Incoming Ballistic Missiles
Jordan’s air defence systems stopped two incoming missiles, with no injuries reported but minor damage from debris in several areas.
Jordanian – (Web Desk) – The Jordanian military confirmed on Saturday that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles that were heading toward the country.
According to a military official, the missiles were successfully shot down before they could reach their intended targets.
Later, the Jordanian Public Security Directorate issued a statement saying that no one was injured in the incident. However, it added that some material damage was reported as a result of the falling debris.
Authorities are continuing to assess the situation while maintaining heightened security across the area.

“Civil defences and police personnel had responded to 12 reports of falling objects and debris in the governorates of the capital Amman, Zarqa, Jerash, Madaba and Irbid between this morning and 2 pm (1100 GMT),” it added.
