JIT summoned PTI Imran Khan and other leaders 3rd time for investigation
Lahore: (Staff Reporter) The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders for the third time for investigation of cases against the PTI leaders in Punjab. They have been directed to appear before the Joint Investigation Team at 12 pm today.
According to the source, so far only Asad Umar has recorded his statement before the JIT. Apart from Imran Khan, the PTI leaders who have been summoned by the JIT for the third time include Fawad Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Ijaz Chaudhry, Musrrat Jamshed Cheema, Farrukh Habib, Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
As per details the JIT is investigating cases of rioting, vandalism and violence against police registered against the PTI leaders and workers in different police stations. The JIT had summoned the PTI leaders two days ago, but none of them turned up.
