TAXILA( (Saqib Khan Khattar)_ IPP will get its biggest political success so far. Former minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, the head of Punjab’s largest political group, formally joined along with his group.
IPP chief Jahangir Khan Tareen expressed his commitment to accomplish what remained unachieved in the country over the past 75 years.
Speaking at a rally in Taxila, Tareen recounted that in 2011, his entire group had joined PTI with the intention of building a new Pakistan. He emphasised moving beyond past issues and focusing on the future. Tareen emphasised the potential of the nation, highlighting that internal conflicts have held the country back. He stressed the importance of healthy competition rather than conflicts, stating that unity and vision are crucial for progress.
Addressing the party workers, Tareen further encouraged them, stating that they are the driving force to amplify their message and propel Pakistan forward. He vowed to prioritise the people’s interests and collaborate to shape a new Pakistan.
Addressing the public gathering in Taxila, Aleem Khan said, ‘’How can the person be sincere to us if he is not loyal to his own children? For the last three and a half years, the PTI chief has not met his sons. But he certainly remembered his sons following the hardships.’’
‘’The PTI did not have a single councillor or nazim in 2011. Before that, we had served as ministers. We were having the passion to indulge in untraditional politics for the sake of restricting the country.’’
Aleem Khan highlighted the political vendetta during the tenure of the PTI, saying, ‘’Jahangir Khan Tareen’s children were dragged into the bogus cases during the PTI’s tenure.’’
”The PTI chief had not even sparred the women. The women were also subjected to the fake cases. The PTI chief had no shame whatsoever,’’ the IPP president stated.
He lambasted the PTI chief over meritocracy, saying, ‘’The PTI chief used to vow that meritocracy would prevail. But things changed after he came into power.”
Aleem Khan fired a fresh broadside at the PTI chief and his party on Wednesday.
Expressing his thoughts in Rawalpindi, Aleem Khan said: “I would like to felicitate Jahangir Khan Tareen and Aamer Mehmood Kiani for the inauguration of the IPP’s secretariat.’’
At the outset of his speech, he lavished praise on Kayani, saying, “Aamer Mehmood Kiani had spent up to 27 years in such a party for which the latter felt he was picking to serve the people by heart”.
“Aamer Kiani remained to stand by the PTI, as he had fully expressed confidence in the PTI leadership. I would like to ask the PTI workers the question of whether Aamer Mehmood Kiani had given the reward of his dedication to the PTI or not,” Aleem Khan said.
The IPP president maintained, “When I visited Bani Gala for the visit time, I saw that Aamer Kiani used to give lift to the PTI chief in his car”.
He also underscored the vital role played by IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen for the sake of the PTI. ‘’Jahangir Khan Tareen had continued to put in all-out efforts for the PTI.”
“When Jahangir Khan Tareen returned from London following receiving cancer treatment, He straightaway reached out to join the PTI’s public gathering. But the PTI chief had lodged cases against the sons of Jahangir Tareen.”
Schooling the PTI, Aleem Khan questioned, “What was the manifesto of the PTI?”
Addressing a press conference in Taxila, Firdous remembered noted poet and religious scholar Allama Iqbal on his birthday. ‘’Allama Iqbal had taught the theory of self.’’
‘’The PTI came into existence in line with the Iqbal’s philosophy of self. Whether the PTIHD achieved the goal of implementing Iqbal’s philosophy,’’ Firdous took a dig at the PTI.
She schooled former first lady Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi. ‘’The former first lady and Farah Gogi had plundered the national wealth and harmed the party [PTI]. Both of them (Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi) had received billions of rupees.’’
