Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser said on Sunday that it was up to the masses to elect the representatives at will.

Islamabad: It is up to masses to elect representatives at will: Asad Qaiser. Addressing the public gathering in Swabi, Qaiser said: “The masses should be provided with their mandate according to Form 45.”

He urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to hold a judicial investigation on the statement of the Rawalpindi commissioner.

Qaiser said: “We will not go for the elections again at any cost. We will go for the legal battle against rigging.”

Pointing out the economic crunch, Qaiser said, “The country is facing economic hardships.”

PTI founder instructs to hold intraparty elections immediately

Earlier, PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan said on Saturday that the party founder had instructed to hold the intraparty elections immediately.

Addressing the press conference in Islamabad, Khan said: “Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has told me that he will make arrangements regarding the intra-party elections.”

“The PTI founder has given the message that we will not be involved in political vendettas if a government forms. He [PTI founder] has asked to follow the pattern of Nelson Mandela’s commission.”

“The PTI will not forget the women who are facing jail,” Khan said.
