Saudi Crown Prince Reaffirms Full Support to Qatar Following Attacks on Hamas Leaders in Doha
Doha – Following recent attacks on Hamas leaders in Doha, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which he reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fully support Qatar.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Qatar, describing it as a criminal act and a blatant violation of international laws and norms.
He assured the Emir of Qatar that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands firmly with its brotherly nation. The Crown Prince emphasized that Saudi Arabia will utilize all available resources to support Qatar in defending its sovereignty and security.
In a related development, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli strikes in Qatar and issued a stern warning to Israel against carrying out such criminal actions.
While,
President Donald Trump believes Israel’s strike on Hamas targets in Qatar was unfortunate and he directed a top aide, Steve Witkoff, to warn Qatar the attack was coming, the White House said on Tuesday.
Trump spoke to both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the emir of Qatar after the strikes, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters.
He assured the Qatari leader that “such a thing will not happen again on their soil.”
