Islamabad Police Intensify Crackdown on Wrong Parking, Criminal Activities
25 Criminals Arrested, Drugs and Weapons Recovered

SDPO Industrial Area Visits Hospitalized Cop,
Islamabad- (Mudassar Iqbal)-Islamabad Police have launched a comprehensive campaign against wrong parking violators and criminal elements. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Sarfraz Virk is personally overseeing the operation.
Crackdown on Wrong Parking
The campaign aims to ensure smooth traffic flow by clearing footpaths and designated parking areas. Vehicles parked illegally will be fined and impounded. Zonal DSPs have been directed to enforce traffic laws.
Arrests and Recoveries
In separate operations, Islamabad Police apprehended 25 criminals involved in drug peddling, illegal weapons possession, and other activities. Police recovered:
– 1,375g heroin
– 3,500g hashish
– 110g Ice
– 10L liquor
– 2 daggers
– 5 pistols with ammunition
Search and Combing Operation
A grand search operation was conducted in Secretariat police station’s jurisdiction, checking:
– 53 suspicious individuals
– 15 houses
– 6 hotels
Five suspicious individuals and 7 unregistered vehicles were taken to the police station for legal proceedings.
SDPO Visits Hospitalized Cop
Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Industrial Area Syed Sajjad Hussain Bukhari visited Constable Nasir Mehmood at Military Hospital, inquiring about his health and treatment progress. The SDPO emphasized the police department’s camaraderie and support for its officers.
IGP’s Assurance
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi assured citizens that Islamabad Police prioritize their safety and property, vowing to maintain peace and order.
Citizen Cooperation
Citizens are urged to report suspicious activities to the relevant police station, emergency helpline “Pukar-15,” or the “ICT 15” app.
