Deputy Commissioner Islamabad emphasized that the registration initiative aims to provide safe and reliable travel for citizens. Legal action will be taken against unregistered drivers, and passengers are urged to use only registered vehicles to ensure their safety.
Drivers can upload the necessary information via the Islamabad City App, and the registration dashboard has been designed to be user-friendly. Authorities have stressed that a zero-tolerance policy will be enforced for unregistered vehicles.
Officials added that registering all taxi and bike drivers will make Islamabad’s transport system safer, more transparent, and more reliable for commuters.
