Islamabad installs 3,000 new cameras in the capital for safety.
A major upgrade with over 3,000 new cameras is coming to enhance safety and security across Pakistan's capital city.
Islamabad – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -The government is giving Islamabad’s Safe City project a big upgrade. They have approved a plan to make our city safer for everyone. The project will add many new, modern cameras to watch over more places than ever before.
A lot of the current safety equipment is getting old and doesn’t work as well as it used to. This upgrade will replace all the old technology with a brand new, connected system. This helps everything work together smoothly.
Over 3,000 new cameras will be set up around the city. You’ll find them at important spots like city entry points, busy roads, and areas that need extra attention. These cameras are very smart and can help police keep a close watch.
The new system does important things like reading license plates and recognizing faces to help keep track of things. They are also building a special backup center. This makes sure that all the important information is kept safe and never gets lost.

A special team from the police office will handle this big project. They will work with experts to make sure these new tools help keep our community safe.
