Islamabad High Court Stops CDA from Cutting Trees
IHC Orders Immediate Stop to Tree Cutting in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Islamabad High Court has restrained the Capital Development Authority (CDA) from cutting trees.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro of the Islamabad High Court heard a petition filed by citizen Muhammad Naveed Ahmed. During the hearing, the court issued orders stopping the CDA from carrying out any tree-cutting activities.
Chairman CDA Condoles Families, Orders Inquiry Into Gas Explosion
The court also issued notices to the CDA, the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency, and the Ministry of Climate Change, seeking their responses.
Additionally, the Islamabad High Court has directed all parties to submit para-wise replies and detailed reports by February 2.
