Islamabad Divisional Boxing Competitions Conclude Successfully

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Islamabad Divisional Boxing Competitions, held under the banner of the National Boxing Championship, concluded successfully at Fight House, Islamabad, marking a major milestone for boxing in the federal capital.

The divisional-level event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of male and female boxers representing Islamabad. Organized with the support of the Pakistan Army, the competition aimed to provide a competitive platform for emerging talent and strengthen the grassroots structure of boxing in the region.

Boxers who delivered impressive performances during the event have earned qualification to represent Islamabad Division in the upcoming National Boxing Championship. The championship was sponsored by the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) as part of ongoing efforts to promote sports and nurture young athletes across the country.

The closing ceremony was attended by Secretary Pakistan Boxing Federation Major Irfan Younis, Chairman Islamabad Boxing Association Shahid Ahmad Khan, and Secretary Islamabad Boxing Association Namood Syed. The guests distributed medals and prizes among the winning boxers and praised the organizers, coaches, and officials for ensuring a disciplined and professionally managed event.

Addressing the ceremony, officials highlighted the importance of such competitions in strengthening boxing at both divisional and national levels. They expressed confidence that Islamabad’s boxers would deliver strong performances in the upcoming National Boxing Championship.
