Islamabad Court Cancels Najaf Hameed Bail
Islamabad Special Court Revokes Najaf Hameed Bail In Fraud Case
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – A special central court in Islamabad on Monday revoked the bail of Najaf Hameed, brother of former senior army officer Faiz Hameed, in an ongoing fraud case after accepting a request filed by the Federal Investigation Agency.
The court ruled in favour of the prosecution, agreeing with the FIA’s stance that bail granted on the basis of reconciliation should be withdrawn. However, Najaf Hameed was not taken into custody as he was absent when the verdict was announced.

The reserved decision was delivered by FIA Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand. Earlier, the same court had approved his bail following a compromise between the complainant and the accused. The FIA later challenged that decision, prompting a review that ultimately led to the cancellation of bail. Najaf Hameed is facing fraud and related charges in a case registered by the FIA and had previously secured interim bail from a local Islamabad court.
