Islamabad closes tourist spots, parks for single day

August 13 announced as local holiday in capital

Islamabad- (Special Correspondent/Web desk) The Islamabad district administration has announced that all hiking trails, major parks, and certain tourist attractions in the capital will be closed to the public on Wednesday, August 13. According to the official notice, Trail 2 to Trail 5, along with the path from Saidpur Village, will remain shut. Popular destinations such as Lake View Park, Daman-e-Koh, Shakarparian Park, and the Pakistan Monument will also be off-limits, as authorities prepare for Independence Day.

The Islamabad district administration has announced a local holiday in the federal capital on Tuesday, August 13.
