BEIJING: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a significant meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting. The two leaders discussed a range of key issues, including progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and broader bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar congratulated the Chinese Foreign Minister on the successful hosting of the SCO event and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening strategic cooperation with China.
Both sides expressed full satisfaction with the current state of Pakistan-China strategic relations and reiterated their shared resolve to enhance bilateral collaboration in the interest of regional peace, stability, and development. They agreed to continue close partnership across all sectors and emphasized the importance of further strengthening mutual trust, long-standing friendship, and diplomatic ties.
