Ishaq Dar, Turkish FM Discuss Regional Ties Ahead of ASEAN Forum

The engagement reflects the continued commitment of both countries to strengthening strategic dialogue

Islamabad – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and avenues for multilateral cooperation.

According to a press release issued by the Foreign Office, the discussion also focused on recent regional developments and the upcoming ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) scheduled for July 10–11 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The engagement reflects the continued commitment of both countries to strengthening strategic dialogue and collaboration on regional and international platforms.
