Ishaq Dar Meets Slovenian Deputy PM, Signs Key MoU to Boost Bilateral Ties
The officials also exchanged views on regional and global security developments
ISLAMABAD — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, in Brussels. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum.
During the discussions, both leaders reviewed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Slovenia and explored ways to enhance cooperation within the broader framework of the European Union. They reaffirmed their commitment to expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of boosting trade and economic ties between the two countries.

The officials also exchanged views on regional and global security developments and expressed their resolve to work together to promote peace and stability.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral political consultations between Pakistan and Slovenia was signed during the meeting.
The delegation accompanying Deputy Prime Minister Dar included Foreign Secretary Amina Bilal and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi.
