Ishaq Dar Meets Egyptian FM in Jeddah
The two ministers also agreed to further enhance bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt.
Jeddah: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and praised Egypt’s role in facilitating humanitarian aid delivery to the region. Dar commended Egypt’s efforts in brokering the ceasefire agreement and reiterated Pakistan’s support for the Palestinian cause.
The two ministers also agreed to further enhance bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest and expressed deep concern over the worsening situation in Gaza.

They emphasized the need to strengthen political, defense, cultural, and economic ties, and reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
