Iraqi Special Forces Complete Counter-Terrorism Training at Pakistan’s NCTC

The latest batch of Iraqi personnel arrived in Pakistan on December 19, 2024

Pabbi: A group of Iraqi special forces personnel has successfully completed their training at Pakistan’s National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi, marking another significant milestone in the long-standing military cooperation between Pakistan and Iraq.

The completion of the training was celebrated at a closing ceremony held at the NCTC, where Iraqi personnel were congratulated for their achievements. The event was attended by senior officials from the Pakistan Army, along with the visiting Iraqi delegation.

Responding to a formal request from the Iraqi military, the Pakistan Army agreed to provide specialized counter-terrorism training to Iraqi special forces personnel.
