Iran’s Latest Missile Strikes Enrage Israeli PM Netanyahu

Tensions in the region remain high as both sides brace for potential escalations in the coming days.

Jerusalem — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reacted strongly to Iran’s latest missile attacks, vowing that Tehran’s “tyrannical rulers” will pay a heavy price for targeting civilian areas and a major hospital.

Netanyahu accused Iran of directly striking Soroka Medical Center and residential neighborhoods in central Israel. “Iran will face the consequences for this barbaric act,” said the Israeli Prime Minister.

Iran launched a new round of missile attacks on Israel early this morning, which Israeli media described as significantly larger than previous ones. Reports suggest that missiles struck at least six different locations across the country.

According to local media, the missile barrage caused extensive damage in several areas, with over 20 people injured and fears that more victims may be trapped under the rubble.

An Israeli military official confirmed that the missiles targeted civilian infrastructure, with one missile reportedly making a direct hit on Soroka Hospital in southern Israel.

A spokesperson for the hospital stated that various sections of the facility suffered serious damage and multiple injuries were reported among patients and staff.

In contrast, Iranian officials claimed that their strikes were aimed at Israeli military command centers, intelligence headquarters, and related installations, denying any deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure.
