Pakistan & Iran – (Web Desk) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqchi announced that as soon as the attacks on Iran are halted, Iranian forces will also pause their defensive military operations.
In an official statement, Iraqchi confirmed that Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has formally approved the ceasefire agreement.
He further stated that the opposing forces suffered a clear, historic and significant defeat in this conflict, ultimately compelling the United States to accept a 10-point truce plan put forward by Iran.
The Foreign Minister outlined key proposals within the agreement, including a firm guarantee from the US that it will not launch any future aggression against Iran, along with Iran retaining full control over the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
Other major proposals in the deal include the recognition of Iran’s right to uranium enrichment, the complete removal of all primary and secondary sanctions, the cancellation of all United Nations Security Council and Board of Governors resolutions against Iran, financial compensation to be paid to Iran for damages suffered, and the full withdrawal of all US combat troops from the region.
