Iran Appreciates Pakistan’s Diplomacy, Rejects Reports of Refusal

Tehran/Islamabad: (Web Desk) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts, posting a message on the social networking platform X.

In his statement, Araqchi emphasized that Iran has never refused to participate in negotiations held in Islamabad and appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing support and solidarity. “We are grateful to Pakistan and have never refused to come to Islamabad,” he said.

He clarified that Iran’s top priority remains ensuring a permanent and final end to the illegal war imposed on the country. “Iran is interested in any solution that guarantees a complete and lasting resolution to the conflict,” Araqchi added.

The Foreign Minister also thanked Pakistan for its historical support and solidarity, concluding his message with an Urdu slogan: “Pakistan Zindabad, thank you Pakistan.”

Araqchi strongly condemned fabricated stories circulated by Western media, stressing that Iran has always been willing to engage in dialogue. His statement aims to counter disinformation spread by certain international and regional media outlets, as well as some groups within Pakistan.
